Artists Don't Sleep is a poster created from a project in my typography class last year. The quote is an excerpt from Bruce Mau's book, "An Incomplete Manifesto For Growth" which talks about how to maintain a creative lifestyle. The full quote is "Stay up late. Strange things happen when you’ve gone too far, been up too long, worked too hard, and you’re separated from the rest of the world." I liked this quote because as an artist and a night owl, I find it very true and perhaps a little unsettling -- so I decided to depict that with an old creepy surrealist-type house.
