Arcade Date Poster

Arcade Date was an introductory portfolio piece of mine to get accepted into my degree emphasis (Illustration, Design, Animation). The prompt was a sad-looking lamp in a room by itself, with a green wall behind it. From there, I knew I wanted to give the lamp a friend, and a date. One of the most popular first date locations for me over the years has been the arcade, so I decided to put the two together in an arcade setting. I included a pattern for the floor that you would typically see inside of a bowling alley, due to the arcade in my town being inside of a bowling alley. From there, I decided to put little stickmen inside of the machine, and have one of the lamps holding a plushie that they won previously!
